50 years from now, when Jim Bowden has long been dead and buried, his ghost will still haunt this team and possess GMs into making craptacular trades.

Once you put the leather pants on, you find they do not come off so easily.

Yeah, at least Austin Kearn's numbers will be deflated by his tenure at RFK so the trade won't look quite so bad on paper.

Well, living in DC, I've resisted becoming a full-on Nats fan.  I guess this is my chance.

I feel like I'm going to be sick.

On the surface, this is so bad it's laughable.

And don't forget Lopez's number will be scaling back.

Two new, young live bullpen arms, filler at AAA, and young prospect at A, plus the contract of Royce Clayton, which is gone after this year anyway.

Denorfia's going to replace Kearns' production - Phillips can lead off or Freel can as well. Lopez is starting to regress a tad.

I have still a thought that Kevin Towers is enamored with Rich Aurilia. We need to help with conveying those thoughts to San Diego.

Ok, Deno fans - here we go.

Well, I'll probably watch them more on tv and maybe If I'm in D.C., I might go to a game even if the Reds aren't playing them.

I'll be shocked if Deno is going to be starting, Freel is gonna get most of that PT, with a little Wise mixed in

Looks like the trade took out the WLW website.  I can't that one either.

This sure as hell ain't bigger than the A-Rod trade; Buster Olney is a crackhead.

Man, it feels good to take off the moderator mantle...
