Does this mean Freel and Patterson are our CF platoon?

Bako catching again today?  I thought the idea behind him playing last night was so that Javy would be able to catch Cueto today.

Maybe the start is a reward for that pickoff last night?

Could be.  Or maybe Javy is still in the doghouse?

Baker said on the pregame with Marty yesterday that he specifically wanted Bako to catch the young guys.

I can understand that.

Maybe Big Dust doesn't think Javy's bat outweighs his poor defense.

I thought most managers didn't like their catchers playing a day game after a night game.  I guess Baker doesn't mind it otherwise Javy would have caught Arroyo last night.

That might very well be the case, which wouldn't be a bad thing.
